Meet ICTA Founder, Scott Paschal

ICTA Founder & President, Scott Paschal, with his wife, Mel, in St. Augustine, Florida.

Scott Paschal is a Christian missionary living in the United States.

His journey into service for King Jesus began under difficult circumstances.

As a teen, Scott came from a broken home.

His father left his family, and soon after, due to the ravages of alcoholism, committed suicide in Scott’s car.

Thus began a decade of confusion and pain for a young Scott Paschal.

Fortunately, Scott’s high school football coach, along with Scott’s girlfriend and his pastor during college, all cared enough to bring Scott through his most difficult times.

Visiting Mom in Maine.

They each felt God had a plan for him.

In 1998, while living in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Scott answered the call he had felt for many years and began his work in public Christian ministry.

The pain he endured had come full circle into a desire to help others, as he had been helped.

As a tennis pro, Scott had a vision to use the sport of tennis as a vehicle to reach others in need.

Interview by major TV network in front of ICTA Global Outreach booth at Sony Ericsson Open, the world's 5th largest pro tennis tournament.

His ministry, the International Christian Tennis Association, ICTA, was founded.

ICTA became the first organization in history to provide large-scale Christian mission outreaches to professional tennis tournaments.

ICTA Global Outreach has attended, on-site with sponsor/exhibitor’s booths, among the world’s most famous professional tennis tournaments!

From California to Texas to Rhode Island to Florida, ICTA Global Outreach offered free Christian materials to nearly two million tennis fans.

Scott Paschal founded a Florida-based tennis academy to provide high performance tennis training in a fun, safe, faith-filled Christian environment. Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy, since 2001, has hosted full time students from 24 countries and 16 US states. Each student has been coached and discipled personally by Scott.

World class junior players such as:

Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy junior & professional tennis players competed at all elite levels in the sport of tennis globally.  Such as competing on top #20 NCAA D1 tennis teams on scholarship, and competing on ITF Pro Circuits in over 20 countries worldwide gaining and/or improving their ATP & WTA professional tennis  rankings….even reaching the ultimate platform in tennis by competing in the main draws of  the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon, and US OPEN.

Scott's current student, David from Australia, grew from 115 lb, 15 year old beginner to a 175lb, 18 yr old advanced jr. Seen competing her in ITF Pro tournament vs pro player.

Scott created Ultimate Impact Tennis Academy as his response to Jesus’ Great Commission, where Jesus calls each of us into discipleship of others.

Mathew 28…  Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.  When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Mathew 28 in the Bible

Living in Palm Coast, Florida, Scott is currently writing a book and preparing to film a video curriculum.

He is married to his amazing wife, Mel,… loves to ride his mountain bike, enjoys coaching and discipling his tennis academy students, and thanks God daily for his blessed life.

The life story of Scott Paschal shares how God can and will reach out to the weak and hurting causalities of life on this earth, and use us for His will to be done and His glory to be revealed.

Hi, Scott. Wanted to introduce myself, and let you know that I would be happy to help you with any writing needs ICTA may have, pro bono. I am a Christian mom of a 12-year old sectional tennis player in PA, and am grateful to find a resource like this for him. Isaac loves the Lord, and he will be thrilled when I tell him about you and ICTA!

    In Christ,
    Mary

Sounds like you have an amazing ministry. We are hosting one of your students, Anastasia, in our home in Trujillo, Peru this week. She shared her testimony with us tonight over dinner, what a blessing you have been in her live!
